I often sit at the foot of the ocean in times of unease. A shell in my hand representing the fear I am holding onto, the waves move rhythmically, as it rolls towards the sand it’s fierceness relents and peacefully joins the prior waves. When I’m ready, I release the shell and surrender my fear to something bigger than myself.
